Adam Friedman open-jammed from under the gun for 410,000 and Erik Seidel snapped him off from early position.
Friedman wound up with 9x7x5x4x3x, agonizingly close to Seidel's 9x6x5x4x3x. Seidel notched another knockout, and Friedman packed it in.

On the latest episode of The Chad & Jesse Poker Show, Chad Holloway and Jesse Fullen come to you straight from the 2023 World Series of Poker (WSOP).
They are joined by Joey Ingram, AKA Papi, a lover of four-card poker. A prolific poker podcaster, Ingram is known for his marathon emergency investigations into such controversial matters as the Mike Postle and Robbi Jade Lew cheating allegations. Ingram, who was in L.A. for the Hustler Casino Live $1,000,000 Cash Game, recently returned to Las Vegas and was at the 2023 WSOP for the first time when he sat down with the guys.
Hear what Ingram thinks the future holds for poker, which just might surprise you.
Chad and Jesse also break down all ten nominees for the Poker Hall of Fame Class of 2023. Only one will get in, and it’ll undoubtedly be a close affair with so many deserving individuals.
Chris Brewer raised to 60,000 from under the gun. Erik Seidel came over the top for 200,000, and Brewer raised to 460,000, leaving 5,000 behind. Brewer drew one and made an eight-seven. Seidel patted his eight-six, and Brewer would be all in on the big blind.
On the next hand Jason Mercier raised to 60,000. Brewer drew two and Mercier patter his 10x8x6x4x2x. Brewer was still alive with 8x7x5x, but his two draw cards were a nine and an ace, and the chip and chair miracle was not to be.

Chad Himmelspach moved all in from the cutoff for 310,000 before Brad Ruben called off for his last 275,000 on the button.
Himmelspach took one while Ruben stood pat after which Ruben showed down 9x5x4x3x2x. Himmelspach, meanwhile, held 9x7x5x3x and was drawing dead before turning over the 7x to hand Ruben a full double and leave himself with just 40,000.
A few hands later Himmelspach committed his last few chips on the button and was called by Brad Ruben in the small blind and Jon Turner in the big blind.
Both Ruben and Himmelspach took one while Turner opted for two. Action then checked around with Himmelspach tabling Jx9x8x5x2x. It was no good, however, as Ruben was able to finish the job he had started a few hands prior with 10x8x6x5x4x to send Himmelspach out of the tournament in 17th place.

Two hands after doubling up Jonathan Glendinning, a short-stacked Maria Ho pushed all in for her remaining 120,000. Jon Turner called from the big blind.
Turner drew one to Jx5x4x3x and Ho one to 10x9x8x2x. Unfortunately Turner's fifth card was just slightly better than Ho's as he received a ten, and Ho a queen, and Ho's quest for her first bracelet came up just short.
